YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We use the information you supply to us by when ordering products to get the products to you. If you make an enquiry instead of an order, we'll use your contact details to reply. This may be by email, but it could be via social media and wasaap, depending on how you contacted us. We may need to email you to keep you informed of stock availability. We won't bombard you with marketing when we do this, although we may on occasion send you a marketing email to tempt you into buying a lovely Darent Candle, but there will always be a way of opting out. 

We only share your information to fulfil your order, for example using a PayPal payment or Credit Card company. We trust that those third parties will safeguard your data as well as we do. 

WHAT DATA DO WE HOLD?

Only the personal data that you gave when you made your order, such as name, address, email, phone number, what you ordered and any other instructions you gave such as delivery issues. We keep old emails for a reasonable time after the order is complete so we've got a paper trail should there be any issues.

HOW WE HOLD YOUR PERSONAL DATA

If you order a product, we will keep the order records for a period of six years as required by HMRC, then delete it. Your information will be held securely on a hard drive at our business address.

COOKIE POLICY

All websites use cookies. You can turn cookies off but it may slow down certain pages. It's wise to delete all cookies every few weeks in any case. We don't use cookie related information for personal identification. 

YOUR RIGHTS

If you've supplied us with any data at all by placing an order or emailing us about a product you are within your rights to ask us to delete all data we have on you at any time. You can also ask that we never contact you again. Not a problem. You've got the right to see the data we hold for you and know how we got the data. Any problems please contact us using our contact us form on the Home Page. Nothing grinds my gears more than companies selling my data and spam communications, so we wouldn't do it to you.
